Glasson Basin Marina : Marina Facilities

Overview

Glasson Basin Marina has a berthing capacity of 220 boats. Jetty moorings are fully serviced with water and electric. Facilities include boat lift, boat repairs and insurance work, osmossis treatment, AWLgrip paint spraying centre, rigging services, brokerage, fuel, water, Calor gas. A well stocked chandlery open seven days a week. Excellent laying-up facilities including undercover storage.

Boat brokerage

A brokerage service is available on site for both offshore (sail and power) and inland waterways craft. Brokerage fees from 6% plus VAT.

Boat maintenance

Fully equiped workshop for all types of yacht repairs.
Engine servicing, AWLgrip paint spaying centre, osmossis treatment, insurance work and rigging service.

BW Keys / Windlasses available

BWB keys, handcuff keys and windlasses may be purchased from the on site chandlery shop. Pumpout cards for use at Galgate Marina are also available.

Chandlery

Well stocked yacht chandlery open 7 days a week.
Opening hours:
Mon to Fri 9.30am to 4.30pm
Sat 10am till 4.30pm
Sun 12pm to 4.30pm.

Cranage

Travel Hoist on site, lifting capacity 35 ton.
Monday to Friday 24 hours advanced booking notice required. Lift charges based upon length and weight plus labour. Contact marina office for prices.

Diesel

Diesel available from the fueling berth. See the location on the plan of the marina. 

The diesel that is for sale at Glasson Basin Marina is a high sulphur product therefore it can only be sold for coastal use.

Electricity

Electricity available to all berths. Pre pay cards may be obtained from the chandlery.

Elsan

Elsan free to berth holders.

Gas

Calor and camping gas available on site.

Grocery shops

General Store located in Glasson village.

Hard Standing

Capacity for over 140 boats with electric and water. Standard mooring rates apply. Undercover storage is available but due to limited space we recommend you book early.

Laundry

Laundry facilities on site. Tokens available from the chandlery, washer £1.50 dryer £1.

Maintenance

Our fully equipped workshop and trained staff provide a comprehensive range of services including re-sprays, Osmosis treatment Wood, Steel and GRP repairs, rigging, mechanical and electrical repairs. Available five days a week, Monday to Friday 8.30am. to 5pm.

Visitor Moorings
Visitors mooring per day £11.74
Visitor mooring per metre per week £12.00

Rubbish disposal

Galley waste for berth holders only.
Disposal facilities also available for oil, oil filters and rags, ask for details in the chandlery.

Showers

Showers available for berth holders and visitors.

Slipway

Use of slipway is charged at £15.00

Tide / Lock information

Contact marina office for details of locking times and passage information.

Toilet

Toilet facilities available on site. Key swipe access card required.

Water point

Water is available on all jetty's and fueling berth. Hoses not provided.
