Shopping Centres

CrownGate - The western quarter of Worcester city centre is occupied by CrownGate, the city's largest shopping centre and home to 70 or more shops, including House of Fraser, Boots, Debenhams, Whittard and many other leading retailers. The centre is also home to a number of independently-owned shops such as the hugely popular Sweet Delight, Candles and Soaps, Reefs and many more, as well as a range of places to eat and drink and the city's favourite music venue.

Cathedral Plaza and the Cathedral Quarter - At the southern end of the High Street and just across the road from Worcester's imposing Cathedral, the Cathedral Plaza Shopping Centre is home to Next, H&M, Monsoon and Slater Menswear and Jaeger as well as Cornucopia, a fascinating shop packed with gifts and stunning ideas for your home, Worcester Cycle Centre and Creative Hands sewing centre. There are plenty of places to eat here too with Pizza Express, Cafe Aroma and Carwardines Coffee Shop in the centre and Siam Smile, the Lounge WR1 and Nando's nearby. Just oustide the shopping centre you will also discover Bygones Antiques which is packed with beautiful furniture, Worcester Porcelain, silver and jewellery and Cathedral Belles one of Worcester's many bridal shops.

Reindeer Court and the Shambles - Parallel to High Street in the Shambles you'll find Pratley's, a unique china and antiques emporium where the crockery is piled high, but there never seem to be any breakages, as well as Milletts and Yeoman's Outdoor and Argos and Elts Shoes (Jones & Son). Leading off the Shambles is the specialist shopping centre, Reindeer Court, a former coaching inn transformed into a shoppers' paradise of jewellers (Rock Lobster, Ice, Ian Quartermaine), women's fashion shops (View, Dare, Fuel, Clarity),and Jessica Jones one of the best lighting shops in the Midlands. Below ground you can find a veritable Aladdin's cave in the Worcester Antiques Centre and around the pretty courtyard setting there are cafes and bars where you can take a well-earned break during your shopping trip. Elgar's, Charlston's and Bossa Nova and don't miss Chez Caroline's fantastic French patisserie.
