Eastnor Castle is the home of the Hervey-Bathurst family. Set in a dramatic Malvern Hills location, surrounded by an arboretum, lake and idyllic deer park, the castle almost has an enchanted quality to it. The arboretum is famous in its own right boasting many rare trees as it descends to the huge, 22-acre lake. Severn Valley Railway (14 Miles)

Running and preserving both the steam trains and line for over 40 years, The Severn Valley Railway plays a prominent role in British Railway preservation today. Each stop has something different to offer from charming little villages to bustling market towns with the Severn Valley Country Park and visitor centres in between. Spetchley Park Gardens (3 miles)

Set in more than 30 acres of scenic countryside, Spetchley Park Gardens are widely held to be amongst the finest gardens Britain has to offer. Privately owned by the Berkeley family, the gardens offer formal and informal, woodland and herbaceous. They’ve been in the Berkeley family’s ownership for hundreds of years - since 1606 in fact – but it was not until the turn of the 20th Century that the gardens received their most significant enhancement and extension. This was at the hands of Rose Berkeley and her sister Miss Ellen Wilmot. Keen gardeners will recognise Miss Wilmot as one of the foremost gardeners of the Edwardian era.
