Narrowboats and Cruisers listed on our Brokerage are changing frequently, our friendly staff will be happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have about boat purchase.

Pleasure Boat Licence, Mooring Permits and Boat Safety issues can all be handled here at the marina.

If you are thinking of selling your boat, our brokerage provides a comprehensive service at competitive fees from just 6%.

Boat maintenance

PB Mechanical Marine Engineers, located half a mile from marina.
Only BWML approved contractors may carry out work on craft within the marina.

BW Keys / Windlasses available

Available from chandlery.

Chandlery

In the chandlery shop you will find much more than just a well stocked store, with staff on hand to attend to all your boating needs. If you don't find what you are looking for then we will be only too happy to order it for you.

Our wide range of stock includes parts and accessories for Yanmar & Shire engines, Honda outboards and generators, International & Rylard paints and anitfoulings, maps, magazines and books, and of course clothing and gifts for your family back home, we are sure you will not leave empty handed.

Chemical toilet disposal

Located on our service bay, free to berth holders and visitors.

Cranage

Not provided on site, nearest lifting facilities at Botany Bay.

Diesel

Diesel available on the service bay between the hours of 9am to 5pm, 6 days a week. Closed Tuesday's.

Electricity

Electric hook-up available on most moorings.

Elsan

Elsan disposal is avaialable during and outside office hours. This is situated on our service bay.

Gas

Calor Gas available on site between the hours of 9am to 5pm, 6 days a week. Closed Tuesday's.

Grocery shops

Co-op minimarket is a 5 minute walk from the marina.

Hard Standing

Laundry

The laundry is available 24 hours a day. Washer and dryer tokens available from the marina office.

Moorings

Over 100 moorings for Narrowboats and Cruisers. Also dry storage for up to 10 craft. All of our moorings are equipped with electric hook up, jetty lighting and water.

Grade 1 (Unlimited use)£150.68 per metre / per year

Grade 1 Moorings: £150.68 per metre pa
Grade 2 Moorings: £112.21 per metre pa
Monthly rates charged at 10% of annual fee

Short term / Overnight moorings (<30 nights)are charged at £10.00 per night - Stay 7 nights pay for 6
The above rates are valid From 1st April 2008

Monthly stays (>30 nights) are charged at one tenth of the annual rate.

Pub / Cafe

The Marina Cafe is managed by The Brothers of Charity and offers you a superb range of hearty cuisine and great value for money. With a daily specials board and a varied menu you will not be disappointed. A popular venue for cyclists, walkers and boaters alike.

Adlington village has a good choice of friendly pubs all within 5 minutes walk from the marina. There are also a pubs & restaurants within easy reach of the marina.

Pump out

BWML Pumpout cards cost £12 (for 8 mins) and are available from the marina office / chandlery.

Railway / Train station

A 5 minutes walk form the marina. Regular services to Preston and Manchester.

Rubbish disposal

Refuse containers available for disposal of domestic galley waste only.

Recycling bins are available for glass, plastics, cardboard, tins and paper.

Showers

Showers available to our berth holders and visitors. Showers are free of charge to our mooring contract holders.

Slipway

Available for craft up to 22 feet in length.
Use of slipway £15 plus VAT each way.

Toilet

Toilets available to berth holders and visiting boaters.

Water point

Located on the service bay for visitors.

Web access

Internet access available to berth holders, ask in chandlery for details.

Yard Facilities

Boat trailer storage. Ask in marina office for rates.
