Poplar Dock Marina Facilities

Poplar Dock Marina has mooring for 90 boats suitable for all craft including sea-going vessels. All berths have mains power and water. Other facilities include pump out, elsan, toilets, showers and laundry, rubbish disposal, security gates and CCTV, and car parking (additional fee).

There is a small chandlery, stocking essentials at the Marina Office in Limehouse.

16amp & 32amp available through metered bollards. 50, 100, 200 and 500kwh cards available at 0.082p per kwh.

Grade 2: £283.55 per metre
Grade 1: £319.25 per metre

All prices are inclusive of VAT for the year 1st April 2008 - 31st March 2009

There are no longer any visitor moorings at Poplar Dock.

Rubbish disposal

Biffa Bins located in the marina car park for domestic waste. Paper, tin, bottle, cardboard and plastic bottle recycling units located outside marina. Local Authority recycling site is located 200 metres from marina where larger items, batteries, fridges, waste oil etc can be disposed.

Tide / Lock information

Entrance to the Marina is via West India Docks which is operated by British Waterways Docklands. All lockings must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Weekend bookings must be made before 12.00 Friday. Berth holders are entitled to a free locking, available from one hour before to one hour after high water, between the hours 07:00 and 17:00. Other locking times may be available but will be subject to a charge.
