Osterley Park (6 miles)
Originally a Tudor building, Osterley Park House was completely remodelled in the late 18th Century to the exacting design of Robert Adam. This work transformed it from a dilapidated old house into a stunning statement of elegance in a neo-classical style. Located in the heart of West London, both Osterley Park and the house are owned by the National Trust. There’s much to see and do here, including looking round the wonderful stables which date from the original 16th Century build. There are pleasure grounds to wander through and exhibitions to enjoy in the house.
