Description:

Our narrowboat is a Springer 40 footer of all steel construction built in 1989. She has a 2.5 litre Thornicroft Marine diesel engine. We had the boat dry docked at the end of `07` for the hull to be cleaned and re-blacked and fitted with new sacrificial annodes, she also has a brand new boat safety certificate.

The interior is finished in pitch pine throughout and has a full gas cooker and over sink water heater which also heats the shower and wash hand basin.

There is a full double berth at the rear and `L` shaped seating in front which converts into a further double. Heating is from a multi fuel stove in the seating area and there is 12 volt lighting throughout with a 240 volt power ring around the boat.

There is currently a `portapotti` in the bathroom although there is pump-out facility should the new owner decide to go down that route.

We use the boat for weekending and short breaks but the previous owner lived aboard.
