Description:

Hakuna Haraka is a 57 ft Traditional narrowboat. Suited for use as a live aboard. Hull built by Cole Craft, fit out by Dobsons of Shardlow. The hull was last blacked in May 2010.

Forward
Saloon: Approx. 11’ 7” with bespoke fitted corner units and shelving including an area for TV/ DVD player (not included). Solid fuel stove fitted to starboard in tiled hearth. 1 x radiator and 2 x 240volt sockets with 2x 12volt sockets and 2x chairs. An Alde gas fired boiler provides hot water and the central heating system.

Galley: Approx. 7’6” fitted to both port and starboard giving greater workspace and cupboard / drawer storage under. Low level cupboard storage also includes a dedicated area for a washing machine (not included) and drawer cage storage. Formica worktops with composite sink and drainer ,’ Lec’ 12 volt fridge , four burner gas hob separate to the ‘Vanette’ grill and oven . 3x compact high level cupboards and ‘White Knight 28007’ dryer. 4x 240volt sockets.

Dinette: Approx. 6’5”x 4’ which converts into an occasional double. The table can also be removed and used in the saloon. Storage under seating, 1x radiator, 2x 240 volt sockets, 1x 12volt socket. Remote access to inverter. Side hatch opposite.

Bathroom: Approx. 6’x 3’10” includes large shower cubical (6’6” headroom) fitted vanity unit with splash back and wash basin. Chemical toilet, 1x Radiator opposite.

Bedroom: Approx. 9’5”. Fitted double bed approx. 4’ x 6’3” with storage under. Double wardrobe, high level lockers and drop down dressing table / computer desk (240v double socket and 12v socket in cupboard). 1x radiator.

Insulation: Polyurethane spray foam fit out: deckhead, cabin sides and hull sides all oak face ply.

Electrics: 12 volt lighting throughout 240volt via landline and ‘Sterling’ 1800 inverter. Also 240v socket and battery charger in engine bay
