Sandra J is a 56ft Dutch barge built in 2004 by Trent Valley Boats. She is powered by a Perkins Sabre 4 cylinder diesel engine which has done only 62 hours. The wheel house is at the rear, has seating to starboard and is easily dismantled when required. Steps from here lead to the full width galley with 'U' shaped worktops to starboard and worktop and cupboards to port. The galley is fully fitted with 5 hob burner, oven, grill, sink, drainer, fridge and washing machine. The large 17ft long open plan lounge is heated by a diesel fired Bubble stove and has double glazed windows. Comfortable seating is provided by a large armchair and sette that converts into a double bed for guests. Between the lounge and bedroom is the full width tiled floor bathroom. this has ample storage space to port , a full sized bath, shower, airing cupboard, wash basin, heated towel rail and macerator toilet. Leading on from the bathroom is the master bedroom. Storage is provided port and starboard, with wardrobe and drawers aft. A full size 4'6" double bed is fitted centrally. The bedroom has portholes for both privacy and security.
